Mark Siurek, the managing partner of Warren & Siurek, L.L.P., has been honored by his peers every year beginning in 2005 through their selection of Mr. Siurek as a Texas super lawyer. In 2008, Mr. Siurek was recognized as one of Houston's top laywers by H Texas Magazine. He concentrates his practice in labor and employment litigation, including claims involving unpaid or underpaid overtime wages, executive compensation, employment contracts, severance benefits, discrimination, wrongful discharge, wage and hour claims, unpaid commissions, whistleblower/Qui Tam claims, restrictive covenants, and trade secret issues. He also maintains a significant arbitration practice in most of these areas.

Mr. Siurek also counsels and represents the firm's clients in the negotiation of executive employment agreements, employee partnerships, employee buy-ins and equity sales, resolution of benefits disputes, and advice concerning deferred compensation/stock issues.

In addition, Mr. Siurek has practiced law in Houston for over twenty (20) years in nearly all aspects of labor and employment litigation and has extensive trial and arbitration experience.

Kemberly Warren, Partner

Kemberly Warren, a founding partner of the firm in 1992 with Mark Siurek, is board certified in residential real estate law with her practice emphasis primarily in real estate law. She is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association and a Certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Moderator.

Patricia Haylon, Of Counsel

Patricia Haylon is of counsel to the firm and also concentrates her practice in employment and labor litigation. She received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1991. She is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. Ms. Haylon joined the firm in 2002.

Our attorneys are all members of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. Mr. Siurek and Ms. Warren are certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Mediators.

Douglas Welmaker, Of Counsel

Douglas Welmaker is of counsel to the firm. Mr. Welmaker concentrates his practice in employment and labor litigation with emphasis in unpaid overtime cases. Mr. Welmaker received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1993, where he was an Assistant Editor of the South Texas Law Review. He is admitted to the United Stated District Court for the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.
